We want to assure you that we take the health and well-being of our community, customers and team members very seriously. Like you, we are closely monitoring the quickly developing effects of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, we will continue to practice the following:
Wearing protective gear
Our field technicians all wear gloves, face masks and shoe covers while servicing homes.
Washing our hands frequently
Our field service team regularly and thoroughly cleans their hands with an alcohol-based hand rub and/or with soap and water.
Maintaining social-distancing and exterior treatments
Our team remains at least 5 feet between themselves and anyone they come into contact with. We are also focusing on servicing the exterior of homes and limiting interior treatments.
Office team working remotely
All non-field personnel are working remotely until further notice and all meetings are virtual via phone and videoconferencing.
Staying home when not feeling well
Following the directions of local and national health authorities, any member of our team that has any sign of illness, will not be allowed to work in the field or office until cleared by a medical professional.
Pest Control is an "Essential Service"
The professional pest control industry, an essential service, is responsible for the protection of public health, food and property. The importance of the pest control industry in Florida and to the nation as an essential service cannot be understated.
Moving forward
Kingfish Pest Control will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and will follow guidance from public health officials and government agencies, so we can continue to support our Jacksonville, FL area customers and team members.
These are uncertain times, but we also know they are temporary. While we work together to slow the spread of the outbreak, we are constantly reminded of a Kingfish core belief that-- doing things the right way not only benefits our customers, but also our team, our families, and the world in which we live.
