Deer Mouse

Deer Mice have light brownish-red bodies with a light-colored underbelly and feet. They have a pointed nose and large dark eyes. The body of the Deer Mice measure 7 to 10cm with tails measuring 5 to 13 cm. Attracted to wood piles and yards with plenty of vegetation, these mice will sometimes make their way into the attics of homes, and even a barn or shed, when the cooler weather sets in.
