About the Spiney Orb Weaver
The spiders are wider than they are long, males measuring at 2 to 3 mm in length, females measuring at 5 to 9 mm in length. The females will have several spikes on their bodies, the males have 4 or 5 humps. Their colors can be white with black spots and red spikes, or yellow with black spikes, and sometimes entirely black.
